How can you load an .mpe into yahoo file manager

I am working on a webpage as a homework assignment and received a file from a coder here at RAC but I cannot load it into my file manager on yahoo. Tells me it doesn't like the format. I have never heard of an mpe before. I assume it is a mpeg. I need help getting this intop my file manager. I have already completed the code.
