Magento Theme Modification

My magento site needs some modification. I have code to show custom options on category view page. This was working fine for old theme, but I changed the theme of the site and replaced the code with options code, visual part works but same functionality is not there. So need to adjust that code with the site to work properly. This code shows options and quantity box with up and down function. Also need to configure SHOP BY Category where when customer clicks on subcategory, the other subcategories of its parent category should show side by side and also other subcategories of MAIN Parent category which is there on top menu.
