A Simple Internet Filter that blocks URLs the user enters manually. This program must be hidden and protected from the end-user deleting the program files once installed with no additional security programs. I have attached a sample layout design which I would like you to follow(or very similar, please). The layout also helps to explain how I want the program to work and act. To remove URL's from the Block list, the user will have to highlight the item in the list and hit the delete key on the keyboard, or an added button can be used in the interface. I would like interface to be accessed by a key combination such as CTRL+ALT+W, CTRL+SHIFT+W, or something similar. Then a small password box will appear and they will enter the password that they are required to enter(choose) during installation, and the user interface will then open up, allowing them to make changes. This can be done in Visual C++, J++ or something very similar and equally solid. Any other questions that need to be answered, or any loose ends you, as the coder, feel that I haven't covered, please let me know. Thank you. edit May 23, 945AM: I have changed the design somewhat, there is no longer an allow list. I updated the picture.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. (no winzip auto-extraction - preferrably InstallShield or similar) 2a) Uninstall must be simple and complete, and show up in the Windows Add/Remove programs list(but require a password, same password required to access the User Interface, to uninstall) 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
All Windows OS's (Windows 9x, NT4.0, ME, 2000, XP) Must work with IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera and every other browser.. I'm not sure that this will be an issue depending on how you choose to code the program.
