We require the creation of an xml feed from a product database (mysql). This is in order for us to provide the affailates of our site with a searchable list of our products on their website complete with their affiliate codes. We will need 2 of these creating. We also require the conversion of an sql database held on a microsoft server into a mysql database held on a unix server. This database simply holds all products, their descriptions and prices etc. SQL Server To MySQL 1. Are the schemas between the SQL Server and MySQL databases identical? == table names can rename the same... we can rename them later XML Output Schedule 5. Is the XML output for affiliates to be generated by a schedule, triggered events (e.g. product price change), a user request? == it will need to be a cron job done once a day 6. Is this project just to produce the XML output or does it need to automate transfer of the XML data to affiliate sites? == It is just to produce xml output to a file XML Format 7. Is the XML format to be written as a static output or a dynamic process whereby the output is configurable? == Static output written dynamically from the database 8. ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
