This might be a database rather than a Perl issue. What database are you using? MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle? I have relevant experience with both Perl and SQL databases - PostgreSQL in particular. If you are using a noSQL database such as MongoDB I would not be the best person to assist. I have several other questions as well - such as: - What web server are you using - Apache or Nginx? - Does your application use modperl, CGI - or a webapp framework such as Dancer? - What OS is your server running? Regarding the database ... Perhaps a table index needs to be rebuilt. It is impossible to know without more information. Lastly ... Would you be able to grant SSH login to your server to debug the issue? I understand you might have security concerns about doing so - but it is an order of magnitude faster to debug these issues that way. NOTE: Until I have full details this bid is PROVISIONAL.
