Opencart 3.0 email alerts and order problems

List of problems:
1. My Opencart 3.0 does not send email out to the customer when an order is placed. I have modified the order email alert file to support HTML to the admin and not sure if this had something to do with the error.
2. Customer orders are not showing up in their account when they login.
2. I need to modify the HTML admin email to show the options on the product that was purchased as well.
