I'm suitable for this project, because I have already finished a web scraper, and it is based on python and scrapy, the database it used is mysql. Actually, I think I just need to change some of the code to finish your job.

I've done scraping work in Python, although it wasn't with scrapy, it was with the now defunct 'mechanize' library. I have a lot of experience with Python in general, and I am a quick learner, so I am confident I will be able to pick up scrapy and use it to parse and store the data for you. With this bid I am assuming the pages to be scraped have the same (or very similar) layout, which is a reasonable assumption if all the pages to be scraped are on the same website, as indicated in the job description. If I do find out that the pages have significant differences in layout, it may complicate the task; if this turns out to be the case I will let you know as quickly as possible so we are both satisfied with the end result. That said, I think it's very unlikely that this will be an issue. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope to hear back from you!
