I'm running a small/medium vBulletin 4.2.2 forum under a DigitalOcean Ubuntu 12.04 Droplet with plenty of memory to spare. The VPS was recently updated as follows: - PHP upgraded to 5.4 - Nginx installed in front of apache to serve static files - Mysql/PHP/Apache tweaked - APC Cache enabled - Swap Space enabled After the update the site seemed faster, but for some reason page-load times have been increasing, and ping-times from services like pingdom confirm it. I looking for an experienced vbulletin/sysadmin that can take a look at the VPS, verify the various logs that may uncover performance bottlenecks, ping the site with a third-party service (like [login to view URL], others?), and A) provide me a basic report on your findings, B) fix anything obvious that may be impacting load-times, and C) make recommendations on fixes that may improve overall performance but are outside the scope of this quick job. This should be a straightforward and rather quick task for an experienced sys-admin, so I'm setting a fixed budget, but will throw in something extra if you are ultimately able to boost performance to more decent levels.

If there are any obvious reasons why your site iis slowing down over time I can fix them, and I can certainly make some recommendations for speeding up your site, unless you are getting perfect scores from tools like pingdom. maybe even then if there's any extra performance that can be coaxed out of your DNS,, web server(s), or database, though much of that is probably beyond the scope of this project.
