whatever is your requirement I have done all this work in many of my apps. One suggestion from my side is instead of using volley use Retrofit that is really fast in performance and well optimized. Giving offline support is a big task because providing offline support is something like you never make user realize that he/she is using your app without internet that is no where "No Internet Connection" popup will appear, your app will blew fine without internet also.
