Load OpenWRT on Hornet-UB boards

We are attempting to load Open-WRT (linux-based OS for WiFi routers) onto Hornet-UB boards (from Alfa). We have what we thought are complete instructions and we have a technician working on this - but it's not working - we're getting a TTTTTTTTTTTT... (timeout) error. We're using HyperTerminal and TFTP server and client. We have double checked and triple-checked all the settings. We know that it's possible because we had a technician previously that loaded the OS successfully, multiple times. We need an expert to help us and will pay by the hour, to evaluate our process and tell us what we are doing wrong. Thanks very much.
