2 tasks: update small component to work under joomla1.5X and small core hack

Task1: I am using the tiny little component mycontent. I now need this component to work under joomla 1.5X I think it is not very complicated, the basic functionality seems to work but the headings and 1 item do not show as needed. Then I need the startdate to be changed to end date. I already have that for joomla 1.0x if you want that hack I will send it to you. origionally it can be found at [login to view URL] but i enclose my hacked version.
