Simple game creation for Crop Protection Industry - Ideas input anlso needed!

Game Brief Submitted We are looking to build a basic video game in flash or some other programming language that can be played on a PC/Mac and of secondary importance - mobile if possible. The idea for the game is to identify what is fact and what is myth in the crop protection industry. A list of these facts and myths will be provided. We are thinking a good angle could be for the user to aim to debunk the myths that exist in the crop protection industry, while identifying facts along the way (which give them points). We would like creative input on the game/story structure so if you have an idea, that we would welcome it. We are open for creative input on how the game looks and works, but essentially it could potentially be set in a crop field, which has a bright and positive feel about it as the message we are getting across is positive (perhaps sunny and bright, definitely not dark and gloomy). Guiding Points: 1. Name of the game is something like Agri-Myth Debunker or Agri Fact or Fiction (dependent on game structure – open to ideas input) 2. The protagonist/user character brief is open, but should be fun and appropriate for the theme of the game. 3. The setting is potentially crop field (perhaps wheat, corn, soy or other edible crop). It would be good to visually express the progression throughout the game. Some example games show a character climbing a mountain and falling off if they fail. But for crops, we are not sure how to visually express this so are open to suggestions. Maybe there is something we can do with crop circles, growing a crop or moving through to different types of crop fields. 4. The player will find their way through the scenario as they are presented with statements. As mentioned they either ‘debunk’ the myth or identify it as a fact (or we are open to a different way to win the game). The objective is to get as many correct as possible. We are looking for input on how the game unfolds and how to present the facts and myths. 5. The overall point of the game is to demonstrate how many myths for the crop protection industry exist, and to show how difficult it is to determine what is fact and what is a myth.
