I have already worked and completed a project on face-recognition and the people classification part. I have used VGG19 (Siamese Network) to create a vector of 128 numbers of an individual person, which is then compared to other vectors in the database. Thus reducing the computational power and having faster inference speed. If given an opportunity, I promise you my best efforts and completing the project in given amount of time.
