Objective Comparison and recommendations for a cloud based solution for accepting and processing credit card and PayPal orders. Ease of implementation and operation, reliability, and cost of use are principle concerns. A high level task list for implementation is also required. Background Customers Wide variety of organizations ranging from churches to major government and business organizations. There are no consumer clients. most licensees are in the U.S. with some in Europe, Australia and Canada. Product Licenses to use software. Currently structured as perpetual license and annual support and updates coverage. Two product levels both with a base fee plus per user ID fee and fees for other options. Moving to simple subscription model based on user ID’s with limited options. Subscriptions will be offered on a quarterly, annual, and multi-year basis with different price per user and option costs. Company is based in Canada and has a PayPal merchant account used for telephone orders via virtual terminal. Transactions Current and future transactions will be low volume / high value. Dozens per day, ranging between $100 and $5000 USD. Most transactions are generated either from a link sent by email, or as link generated by the product itself. A substantial majority of transactions are repeat transactions. Relatively few transactions are generated by the host website. This pattern is expected to continue. Solution Requirements 1.
