Website Designer Wanted -- Shopify Site -- Quick to Pay

We are a startup ecommerce company specializing in selling projects (b2c) in the pet supplies vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in using the Shopify platform and integrated tools. A 14 day turn time is required for this project. Job Description: Your responsibilities: - Translate business and user requirements into highly engaging and compelling design concepts - Conceptualize, design, and develop the User Interface/User Experience as well as the overall look and feel of web pages - Using Shopify platform tools and modify existing template. 7 - 10 pages. Majority of copy will be provided. - Communicate design strategy and rationale to our team - Create designs including sketches, visual design mockups, visual assets and documentation required for proper implementation - Incorporate user interface design standards across the website, as needed - Modify supplied images for use on website Your qualifications: - Complete understanding of Shopify 2.0 platform - Ability to handle multiple projects and work quickly (14 day completion requirement) without sacrificing quality - Strong grasp of web design principles, information design, typography, color, iconography and layout - Compelling portfolio that demonstrates beautiful interactive experiences and innovative design - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite - Experience/Understanding of HTML, CSS, ActionScript, and jQuery is a plus - Ability to work with constructive criticism (again, we understand the creative process) as well as adhere to deadlines - A work style that is extremely detail oriented
