Adapting to a new rapidly approaching landscape can be a confusing and overwhelming process, but we’re passionate about eliminating the uncertainty that businesses face by providing information and solutions that enable them to confidently commit to the future. We are looking for a bright, business savvy copywriter to join our creator to join our copywriting team and to produce monthly blogs for our website that bring our energy for this industry to life and add value to our audience. You will be able to take recorded conversations along with current reports and articles, to produce fresh and engaging content. You will be up to date with EV news, keeping an eye on current EV news outlets for information and inspiration. You will understand the subtle and key differences involved with producing articles to cater to different audiences. What we need: Someone who loves writing to produce blogs for our website and social media. Someone who can take detailed information from internal experts, make sense of it and turn it into an intriguing, informative but enjoyable copy to read in the form of blogs/articles. Someone who is passionate about the EV industry and enjoys learning, debating and writing about this topic. Someone who can bring to life the passion and expertise of TCC within weekly blogs & on occasion website pages Someone who is interested in the ability for content to help us rank on Google and has basic understanding of SEO in content. Someone who can absorb our TOV and mission and stick to clear briefs You’ll have Experience in writing copy for on and/or offline channels, an interest in Electric Vehicles and the Clean Energy Space is an added advantage Impeccable spelling and grammar and enthusiasm for language. A good understanding of SEO techniques, do not need to be a specialist but understand the importance of search and the role blogs play on a website. The ability to think creatively while always keeping brand front of mind. Good communication skills. strong language skills and the ability to adjust content to remain consistent with brand, style, and tone. Experience in a Business to Business environment would be helpful but not compulsory Ability to turn copy around quickly where it is timely to the news/ external environment An understanding of how to create and present content that informs A distinct creative mind in regards to typography, layout and design Ability to identify trends and react to current news/affairs as they happen Hours: 16 hours work a week - opportunity for this to increase This is a unique opportunity to be part of the future of vehicles to help TCC raise awareness and deliver education to businesses through your compelling, interesting copy.
