Hi - I'm a Freelance Designer based in Leicestershire. I have over 25 years 3D Cad experience although it's fair to say none of it has been to do with carpentry! My background is mechanical engineering and special purpose machinery, saying that I'd like to think I'm fairly good at DIY etc so should have a reasonable grasp of door construction and joinery methods - if the job is outside my 'skill set' then I will let you know straight away.
