A Microsoft Windows-based MIDI player that displays notes on a music staff, not as standard music notes, but rather as bars of different lengths corresponding to note duration. The music staff is treated as one long timeline, where during playback the notes scroll past a vertical cursor at a constant flow rate as they are played. The cursor represents the current time index of the song. The length of a note is determined by the length of time it takes for the note to scroll past the cursor at the constant flow rate.
A detailed spec will be provided after initial inquiry. This is a proof-of-concept phase of a larger project, so please indicate your potential availability for follow-on projects over the next 1-2 years to add new features to the software.
