We have built application on Linux and intend to supply the same to users on four harddisks (two each in RAID-1 formation, each RAID-1 formation to be installed on 2 different computers) who should not be able to pirate it. While there may be no way of ensuring that no-one can copy our disks, we wish to ensure that the disk thus copied is IMMEDIATELY rendered useless and data encrypted. We are looking for a Linux programmer who can do this. To give you an idea, this can be achieved by using features of the GRUB boot loader and Linux OS. However, I am open to anyone suggesting me a better methodology that may exist for the same, so please make sure I shall ask to discuss your strategy. Important to note, though, that our installation IS NOT TO CONNECT to the Internet, hence, it may not be possible to check the installation license through online / telephonic means.
