I see that the project location is in hawaii. This is good news because I am familiar with the code that pertains to this location (ASCE, IBC, military, etc.). I am assuming the design is wood construction? What is your deadline on this? If the frame cannot develop enough base shear-- is a concrete shear wall within the construction budget? Would the perimeter foundations need to be designed as well? After the calculations are finished-- would you need a detail provided (AutoCad?)?
