DLX Assembler Project

Hi, I have read the description several times. I see that DLX is a dialect of MIPS assembly. I have experience with MIPS and although I never done embedded-like projects, I understand very well the requirements of this project. I am sure I can implement this assignment.

Greetings, My name is Valentin and I read the specification. I would like to know: 1. What development environment are we using? Because: The skeleton file and others need to be put into one. I only saw a statement "we expect you to use the SVN version control system as you develop your program. The instruction for creating the required repository are on the web-site." 2. Is there an animation with buttons I can virtually press to see how it works? Because: The need to change memory data (in order to simulate the doors closing and others) will give a big overhead in the testing phase. I am interested in creating a working program, as described from part 5 onward, but will need the tools and info the Uni gave you. As a short description, I've had multiple projects in my Uni that were similar to this one, won a project contest with one and did my Bachelor Thesis from one. Best regards, Valentin
