BIOS IMAGE NEED MODIFY UEFI experience with ACPI

Hi So what need to be done...I need a BIOS image modified to do two things: power on automatically when the device is put on the charger and disable the hardware power button. For the first one, this may not be possible, but the tablet seems to be in state s5 and placing power to the device registers a message "s5 Charging Disabled. Shutting down." I'm hopeful we can initialize the tablet instead of displaying the message and transitioning from a soft off to a hard off. For the second item, I have not successfully located the subroutine handling this. The tablet seems to power off after 6-8 seconds of holding the power button and I'm not convinced this is handled entirely by hardware.
