We have been with the same hosting company for 3 years and want to move to cloud hosting with Amazon. This job is to Configure and Move our Network of Dating Sites to Amazon - 200 sites or so from 2 fixed servers to Amazon hosting. You will safely and delicately move the sites from our servers to Amazon, configure the best for optimal speed and you will arrange to make sure things are safely backed up during the process. You will have qualified staff with experience using Amazon AWS hosting and you will know the proper configurations. You will communicate with us during the move and ensure minimal downtimes. You will resolve any errors caused by the move to the basic functions of the sites. We have no core functions not working now and expect the same after the move. What our network is, is 180 general all audience dating sites and about 15 (18+ dating sites) their separate networks but they operate the same and are basically identical networks. Have separate Mysql. Luckily our images are already hosted at Amazon so that you will just make sure the settings are all correct so that the images populate right and load fast. Were moving for better load speeds so configurations should optimize the AWS hosting environment with speed in mind first and foremost. Lastly, you should know PHP in case things get broken or need to be tweaked for the cloud hosting to work properly with our past fixed server configuration. You will have access to the two servers we currently have and can study that configuration before the move. We would like to see our move completed within 10 days or so if that is realistic. Sooner is better. We may rehire for development work and new job scope but this job is limited to the scope above. Please note our programming is in Codeigniter with minimal JS and has curl calls for getting user data from shared MySQL across all sites.

Hello I did read your project. I have done many many site migrations in past and i understand you are looking for better speed. I need to tell you this before we work: AWS is not faster then dedicated servers. AWS is VPS essentialy and VPS is shared resources on servers. With AWS dedicated DBS solutions perhaps can be a little faster but not much. AWS is reliable and can be used for high load sites. Automated scalabale would be perhaps one solutions. How much visitors websites have? Which one is most busy website? I can setup automated scaling aws solutions or EC2 instances where sites are distributed. I don't think that 200 sites would work ok on only one AWS instance. Needs to be distributed into several nodes. I can do migration without downtime. Have done many.
