I am a 38 year old native Arabic speaker from Libya. I have been living in the USA for the past 6 years. My primary training is as a physician and I have worked as a primary care physician in Libya for 6 years before coming here. In the USA I have studied for and passed some exams (USMLE) towards an American medical license , and I still have a couple to go. I also studied for a Master's degree in Public Health in Wayne State university , Detroit and I still have 1 semester to go. Sadly , my allowance was discontinued last year and I have been living on whatever they can send me from home since then.
In addition to all of that , I have worked 1 year teaching English back in Libya to supplement my income .
I have never taught Arabic before, however I can assure you it would be very difficult to find somebody (who is not a professional Arabic specialist) who cares about LITERARY Arabic (which I assume you are learning, rather than some dialect) , and Arabic GRAMMAR ( Nahoo ) more than I do, AND who is also fluent in English (studied French and Italian too, understand them but still not conversational). I have access to internet , I am not working or studying right now so I can be available 24/7 when needed.
I believe 20$/hour to be reasonable , given everything.
I do not have a CV ,as such, ready right now . I can prepare one if it is a dealbreaker.
Hope that answers everything.
Thank you
Ahmed
