Beta Testing

I have a program written in VB 6 that needs to be tested. The program is a data transfer/transformation utility. It has a drag and drop interface that allows you to pick a Source data and then a Target data. You can then choose options to take place during the transfer such as changing date formats, trim leading and trailing spaces, change text case type etc. You map fields from Source to Target and then run the transfer. You can optionally save the project to be able to run the transfer again later. Transfers can also be scheduled to automatically run later as well. Source and Target Data can be any of the following: Access, Excel, MS SQL, MySQL, Text (Fixed), Text (Delimited), DBase, FoxPro, HTML, XML and ODBC. You need to test the program for bugs and also give any suggestions for improvements that should be done to make the software better and/or easier to use. You need to put your bugs and suggestions in Word Documents. One document for bugs and one document for suggestions. For the bugs you will list all the steps and include screenshots if it will help to be able to duplicate the bug easier. You will also include the project file and the source and target data files you were using when you found the bug. I am looking for a few testers for this. I will give the tester that does the best job (finds the most bugs, details the steps to reproduce the bugs the clearest, offers the best suggestions etc) a bonus. In your bid, please include which formats you will be testing (You must have the files/databases yourself to test with - the more the better). Note: You don't have to have all the formats. Also in your bid, include which Operating Systems you will test the program on as well. Note: You don't have to have all OS's. Also include with your bid any past bug reports that you have created when testing a program before. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000, XP, Vista
