the situation: a MS SQL Server is connected to a Oracle DB server (linked, OLE), since the client software does not support oracle. the connection is only used for read requests. The ERP software company provided a oracle query with two joins (+) this one should be converted, so that the MS SQL side can get the data linked server works, typical select queries are not a problem. if you read the description, please add "got it" to your answer the oracle part (select removed): FROM PRDOP t1, PRD t2, CUST0015 t3, KADR t4, ART t5 WHERE (([login to view URL] = 55166.000) AND ([login to view URL] = 20)) AND (([login to view URL] = [login to view URL] (+) )) and [login to view URL] = [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] = [login to view URL] (+) and [login to view URL] = [login to view URL]; remote sql execute prefered, since it should be fast. the oracle sql query works on the oracle side. work is completed, when the query gets the same results on the ms sql and orace side.
