Hi I need more information regarding the usage. What applications are they running? Azure would be my prefered platform to go cloud. I would build 6 VMs to start. When more ressources are needed, we can easily add more. 2 Active Directory servers 1 Application server 3 RDS Session hosts Also, they would need a load balancer to elviate any RDS session host issue Each RDS hosts would have a mapped drive to the application server that would host the patient files. Permissions would be assigned per groups. We can discuss more on the DR scenario if my plan looks good to you. You can think of at least a monthly Azure fee of 3500$ It would take me around 40 hours (150$/hr) to put everything in place. I have this kind of experience. My day job is in a CSP and I'm in charge of the provisioning team. You would be in good hands. Thanks.
