ADD BACKGROUND IMAGE TO WORD DOCUMENT AND OUTPUT TO PDF

With reference to <[login to view URL]> it looks like you can add background images to Word documents programmatically. We want two macros which will be available for all Word users in our offices and do the following: Macro 1 - 'Standard Quotations' 1. Run 'SaveAs' on the document. A dialog should open so that the user can select a location and file name. 2. Change all text in the document to Arial 12pt without disturbing formatting. 3. Add 3 background images held on a network file location (\\[login to view URL]\Folder\[login to view URL] etc) to page 1 in agreed locations (1 is a logo in the top right, the other a feature which runs down the right side, the other a detail which runs along the bottom) 4. Do the same on page 2 onwards (if they exist) except that Continuation pages have only 2 images and these may be different from those on Page 1. 5. Insert a last page which is terms and Conditions of Sale. This last page can be a full size jpg image or we have it as a PDF (in which case it would presumably get a little more complex?) 6. Output the final file to PDF ('SaveAs' dialog to open with filename same as Word document only with .pdf as file extension. Macro 2 - 'Project Quotations' 1. To be as Macro 1 but using a single image for all pages. Will require Terms and Conditions etc exactly as Macro 1. Adding images should not disturb text content or formatting. Macros must work with Word 2007 or 2010 and full instructions on how to install should be provided. See sample files for an example Word document before and after running Macro 1. (Note - if you closely examine the example PDF you will find that the image on Page 1 is one image. Ignore this - in the macro you design it will be 3 images to keep the PDF file size down). The reason for not having the images embedded in a Word template is that documents become cumbersome to use - you have to keep waiting for images to load every time you scroll down etc.
