This is from one of my Blogs:Goa, described by those lucky enough to have enjoyed strolling along the sandy beaches, as "The Pearl Of The Orient" or a "Tourist Paradise" Apt phrases indeed.
Sounds sensational, and it is, but I am moved to insert a brief aside here in the form of my amazement at the fact that, I have here on my desk, in front of me, a very impressive World Atlas, some 334 pages long. It was first printed in 2009. the edition in front of me was printed just last year 2010 as I write.
The tome was produced by Atlantic Publishing and printed by 'Parragon" who are in the UK.
The amazing fact is that there is no reference to Goa ,India to be found anywhere in this particular Atlas! How is that possible?
