ArtistConnection PHP/CSS refinements

**Summary**: I have a PHP based Web site that needs to be updated to provide a new graphical style. This bid is to modify the existing code to reflect the graphical style defined by the mockup I provide. This is the first phase in a series of projects involving this Web site. **This work requires an EXPERT with CSS, XHTML, PHP, and MySQL.** You must have excellent knowledge of security and hacking such as SQL injection attacks and *how to defend against them*. If you are only learning PHP and MySQL and do not feel you are an expert, please do not bid!! This first project is relatively simple: * Take an existing PHP system [and site][1] that I have, review it, and then get it up and running on your own server, creating necessary DBs and tables * Take that site's code and update its XHTML/CSS and graphics to match the graphical style you see [here][2] * Make sure that the site can be installed WITHOUT a DB and thus will create initial DB, etc. so it can be installed anywhere This site is a community site for artists and thus will have galleries, etc. It already works, but it must be generalized, updated, and then it must render using the updated mockup. Please ask any questions you might have BEFORE bidding. It would be ideal if you could create the graphics on your own using the mockup provided, but if necessary I can arrange for sliced graphics files. I have included full source code to the existing site for your review. **Please review the source code before bidding so that you know exactly the extent of this project's scope** ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This must run on a LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) configuration using PHP4.x, MySQL4.x, and Apache2. It must support IE6+, FF 1.x, and Safari browsers properly. You must use CSS for presentation (don't use font tags for example), but may use tables for layout if necessary. Minimal use of JavaScript desired.
