Database of Gutenberg Project resource locations

I need a tool that will scan a Gutenberg Project catalog into an SQL table (adding only unique values), and then test and store URLs for the various formats of the resource. For example, a book named "BOB" may be stored in three of a dozen possible formats: TXT, HTML, and MP3. The files are stored according to a set of standards described in this document: [login to view URL] I'd like the program to test against the Gutenberg Project Web site to see if a resource exists in each of the possible formats, generating a table that stores the EBook#, the Title, and the URL of each format found. Gutenberg catalogs can be found at: [login to view URL]:Offline_Catalogs A catalog in RDF/XML format can be found here: [login to view URL]:Feeds The data wil be stored in an MSSQL2000 table called "GutenbergURLs." ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
