I want a web-based calendar where people can enter dates and have those dates approved. There would be a login for each type of user (enter/approver). Approved dates would be displayed to users when logged in. There is additional information on the project within. ## Deliverables I have php, html and mysql coding written and setup for an online calendar. There are some bugs within the coding and there are some additions, improvements and opinions that I want done with the project. Here is how I want the calendar to work: I want there to be two logins that are password protected, one for users who approve dates and one for users who enter dates. Here are the basics of what I want on the login for those who enter dates: 1. A drop down list of designated users that could be selected after login. The dates entered would then be stored under the selected user's name. 2. I want the users to have the ability to enter a single date or a date range. (Ex. 9/23/2012 or 9/23/2012 - 9/29/2012) 3. Once the users have entered their dates, they are stored until approved by a user with approve access. 4. If dates are approved, they are displayed somehow so that all who access the calendar can view the approved dates. 5. Entered and approved dates can overlap for users meaning that John and Mary can both have approved dates on the same days. 6. If a date is unapproved, it will not appear to users. Here are the basics of what I want on the login for those who approve dates: 1. All of the abilities listed for the enter users above. 2. The ability to approve or disapprove of an entered date. Optional items that I have considered: 1. Email notifications for approvers that they have dates that need to be approved. Email notifications for enter users when dates have been approved or disapproved. 2. A note section for emails that might indicate why a date was disapproved. 3. A way for enter users to define all day or by hour when they enter dates. This way they could put (All day on 9/23/2012) or (12 hours on 9/23/2012) 4. When users view the approved dates, I'd like it to display in a nice calendar format. This is not really necessary as long as the dates display in some orderly fashion. Again, I am open to suggestions and have a some of the code already written but am looking for some help with improving this along with some additional coding. The coding I have written does most of the entry part but does not take care of the login, display, etc. If there is a better way to do what is listed above, I am open to any and all suggestions and am willing to help in any way I can. I will share the files to whoever is selected for the job and we'll work together in order to obtain the finished project. If there are any questions concerning this project, please let me know
