Create WordPress Authentication Module

This module will make use of our existing REST-based PHP API for authentication and authorization. The module will need to make a single REST call to the API server and, based on the result, authenticate the user into the WordPress Administration area or deny access. The login is authenticated by a one-time-use token code that associates an e-mail address with a token code. At a high level these are our requirements: • Integrates directly into WordPress as a plugin and provides a complete replacement of the login functionality for the wp-admin section • Consume and implement a simple single call to our REST authentication service to validate login credentials • Replace existing login functionality for WordPress administration area • Provide documentation on the developed plugin in the form of code comments • Simplicity is key; this plugin should be fairly straightforward and mostly transparent to the end-user Further details will be delivered along with API documentation to the winning bidder on this project. The winner must build a branded wordpress module aswell as php site to test the login functionality.
