I'm looking for an implementation of the existing MC Google Visualization Library (PHP/MySQL) on the MySQL database of my website which contains pricing data in a MySQL database.
The library can be downloaded from Google Code: <[login to view URL]>
Simple usage follows this pattern:
<?php
require_once 'MC/Google/[login to view URL]';
$db = new PDO('sqlite:[login to view URL]');
$vis = new MC_Google_Visualization($db, 'sqlite');
$vis->addEntity('some_table', array(
'fields' => array(
'col1' => array('field' => 'col1', 'type' => 'text'),
'col2' => array('field' => 'col2', 'type' => 'number')
)
));
$vis->handleRequest();
?>
Requirements of the project:
- create an example datasource with the following (calulated) columns: Country | Median price for that country
- create a (test)page that uses this datasource with this data in a Google geo map: <[login to view URL]> (prices on map with lowest price is lightest color)
