This request is for the development of our company's site, no design involved as we will provide it on a PDF. We require building a template for the pages with CSS and XHTML, a product builder (Probably Javascript based) where the user select the options and an image shows the results. Access-restricted area: only certain users can access some of the pages. ## Deliverables The request is for the website illustrated in this page, the areas in red indicate dynamic content. No design is required since it will be provided by us as a PDF. OverviewOur company is looking to build a site that can provide all the information our visitors are looking for, from marketing support material (like logos, brochures, product presentations) to pricelist. The graphic on the side of this page illustrates the site's architecture, red representing areas that contain dynamic content of possibly JavaScript (or any other option the prospect programmer considers is more fitting to accomplish what we need). And in green, we mark areas that require the user to log-in to gain access. Dynamic ContentThe site will serve as a information center for retail customers and wholesale as well, so providing exclusive access to the right user is very important: eg: wholesale customers would be the only ones with access to the wholesale shopping cart or the shipper builder, after loggin-in. New Customer Application FormNew customers will have the ability to apply online for an account without having to call our sales reps. After the user submits the form, our sales reps should receive an email alerting them that an application has been submitted into the system. Our sales rep will then log-in, review the information in the application, contact the applicant to verify their information, then either approve or deny the account. If the account is approved, the sales rep will assign the account type (DISTRIBUTOR/BROKER/RETAILER) and a unique customer number/code, then the user will have the ability to sign-in to the restricted access areas (having only access to the information corresponding to the account type). User typeIn the log-in area we expect 3 types of user, DISTRIBUTOR, BROKER and RETAILER, each one having a different price available for each one of our products. Wholesale Sopping CartA shopping cart will be setup for our wholesale customers, and access to the same will be restricted also. DatabaseA database will be created to store customer's account information together with their testimonials and design of the tins they order as well, so we can later use this information in other sections of the site like the gallery and the. Shipper (3.1.1)A shipper is a type of P.O.P. that ships as a box to the retailers, they open it and assemble it, to then display the content that was shipped on it. We want to offer the ability to our 3 types of wholesale users to build the content of their shipper, showing them how it would look at the end with the products they choose (keep in mind all of our products have the same dimension). News (4.3)We need to have the ability to post articles that have been published in the media about our company and press releases as well, in a way that our PR person can log-in and post them, edit or delete them. We also should be able to show portion of the news in the home page in a small box. Events (4.4)In the same way, we need to have the ability to post the events we attend to, and have the system automatically sort the events to be displayed as "Upcoming Events" or "Past Events" Gallery (6.1.2)In this section the user would be able to browse the different tin designs we have done for our clients, they would be able to sort by industry, tin size, color or printing method (label or screen print). Testimonials (6.1/6.2)Testimonials should be pulled from the db to be displayed in these pages. Artwork Upload (6.3)In this section the user would be able to upload their artwork to preview on a tin. Pages LayoutShould be css based to make it easy to update.
