captcha integration in a toplist-script / .cgi files(repost)

[login to view URL] is a german toplist page with 11 toplists. All toplists are in the cgi-bin folder and the script-files have the ending .cgi The aim for this project is to hava a good working spam protection. That means: The worker should include a captcha on the "add new page" page. This is one example with a very simple (too simple) spam protection: [login to view URL] So the worker should replace this simple spam protection with a captcha protection. The captcha schould consist of a combination of nummers and letters at random. The project includes the work for all 11 toplists (always the same procedure) The page is in German language, but i think there is no problem to do that project as a non-german speaking person. I will to my best to help you. Feel free to ask your questions. One additional information: I **don't like** the recaptcha from google. The size, colors and usability are horrible.
