Edit:
I require an API to be written to capture price data for data logging so that a better trading stratagy can be found from the website [[login to view URL]][1] (goto tab "Live Prices")
I want to send the API (the one created by the selected coder) a list of product names and the data from the website sent back to me.
I.e. if I send the API the code "Hourly FTSE to fall, 10am-11am" then I want the following data back (as seen on the website): Sell, Buy, underlying, updated
Every time I send a query to the created API I want the above data sent back to me. Query then result, query then ersult at the frequency I choose my JAVA app to query at.
This API must be written in JAVA.
This is the first stage of the project. Once this is complete I will then require the same coder to extend the created API so that it allows me to submit buy and sell orders. This will be a second project.
This project just concerns itself with the capture of the data stream.
PS. I've had a quick look at the applet used and the source code has had the variable names changed to random charaters making it hard to look at, and it appread to use many threads and loops back to the website.
