Data Miner - ASAP Matt Arnold | October 4, 2005 I need a small PHP script written and implemented on my server to pull posts that contain specific data out of a website forum and add it to an Excel sheet or even just an HTML table that I will be able to easily copy to an Excel sheet. The data I want each post to contain should be something that the script will take in and only output information that contains this “search term?? or “keyword??. The forum I need to be able to mine is <[login to view URL]>. For instance, I want all forum posts that have the words “Fuji Z1?? in the title or body. The data I would want from each post would & be: “Forum?? “Subject?? “Posted by?? “Date / Time?? Post Body You can see how this is displayed at the following URL: <[login to view URL]> I have made small scripts like this in the past using string manipulation functions along with file_get_contents functions in PHP. However, I am sure there is a much more efficient way of doing this. Please let me know if you need any clarification on the project. Also, I am looking to get this done as soon as possible.
