Create MySql database - Install Software

Very easy job for someone who knows how to create MySQL databases and FTP files. Overview of step by step instructions below (for setting up Teleseminar application). I will provide all needed info such as logins. ## Deliverables ...Create a mySql database on your web hosting account. The Teleseminar Application needs a mySql database. Ask your host provider how to create a mySql database with a mySql username and password with full mySql rights. Next, you need to upload the entire Teleseminar Application you unzipped to your Desktop and the [login to view URL] file you put on your desktop. You'll use an FTP program to upload the files. Before you upload, create a directory on your web site for the Teleseminar Application. Maybe "teleseminar". So, for example, if your web site was "[login to view URL]". And, you upload the Teleseminar Application to the "teleseminar" directory on your web site, then it would be installed here: [login to view URL] Next, after you upload the entire application. Use your FTP program to set "permissions" on the following file to 777. /includes/[login to view URL] See the documentation for your FTP program or ask your host provider how to do this. Next, open a browser and go to the install URL. You need to go through a very simple, two step installation process. For example, if your domain name is "[login to view URL]" and you installed the Teleseminar Application in the "teleseminar" directory.... It's going to enter some default data into your database. Now you are on the 2nd step of the installation process. You'll need to enter some basic info about your domain and where the Teleseminar Application is located on your hosting account. "Site Url" - this is where the teleseminar application is located. For example, if your domain name is "[login to view URL]" and you installed the Teleseminar Application in the "teleseminar" directory.... Your Site URL would be: [[login to view URL]][1] "Physical Location of the site" - this is the "path" where the Teleseminar Application is located. You will have to ask your host provider what the "path" to your "document root" is. For example, if your hosting control panel is "cPanel", then your Physical location would be something like this. /home/username/public_html/teleseminar *you'd just replace "username" with your hosting account username Click "Save Setting" Next, you should see the "Congratulations" page.
