This project has two parts. **Part 1: **We have 12 access 2000 database files. The schema needs to be recreated in SQL Server 2000/2005 format as one large database with all indexes, relations, and tables. There are approximately a total of 50-60 tables. There are no queries to convert - only the basic table layout. **Part 2:** Create a utility using VB6 that will read all of the data contained in each of 12 database files and re-create the data in the newly created SQL format. This utility must have a "setup" screen where the user can specify the location of the MDB files as well as the location of the SQL server with username/password. ## Deliverables As there are two parts to this project, there are two deliverables. **Deliverable 1: **SQL script that will execute on SQL Server 2005 **Deliverable 2:** Executable and Source Code (VB6), using JET and/or ADO via code (no ado controls) to migrate existing data to newly created sql layout. Utility must have a screen that allows the user to specify location of MDB files and destination location for SQL Server data including username & password. **RULES:** 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
