Calling Charges Meter

A call logging and charges monitoring application to run on the Microsoft Smartphone 2002 platform, in the mobile phone Motorola MPX200. The user must be able to configure charging rules as given by the network operator, and view/edit the call log, and display the cost incurred so far in the month, and the amount of inclusive minutes remaining (if applicable). The user should also be able to see monthly totals and all historical information until he/she clears the log. The software should auto-load when the phone is started to keep track of all calls, and it should alert the user when a specified condition is met (eg. balance is running low, bill is running high or free allowance has run out etc) The charging rules should be saved to a configuration file that can be easily copied to other users on the same price plan. Sample charging rules for your reference:- 1) Monthly contract cell phone in England: All incoming calls are free of charge Outgoing calls: Peak calls: 0.5 per minute (cell) / 0.3 per minute (fixed line) off peak calls: 0.1 per minute Peak hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 7pm first 200 minutes of calls are inclusive in the line rental and therefore not charged for. numbers beginning with 0870 are always chargable and does not use inclusive minutes. Calls are charged on a per-second basis. There may be other rules regarding timing, rate for different numbers, monthly allowances and exceptions and users must be able to specify that. 2) Prepay service in China User start with a specified balance, charging is done per minute, hence a 10 second call counts as 1 minute. Each minute of airtime (regardless of incoming/outgoing) is chargable at 0.3 per minute at any time of the day. Ten "frequent caller numbers" that the user specifies will be charged at half price. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Motorola MPX200, Smartphone 2002 It is anticipated that it will work in other smartphones too.
