Contractor Workforce Database

I need a basic corporate web site that is then tied into a secure web based data entry and maintenance system using SQL Server 2000 and VB & ASP.NET. This system is to be used by environmental construction and clean up contractors to track information and progress associated with cleanups after any type of disaster, such as hurricane Katrina, tree beetle infestation/destruction on Arizona, etc. The system must track the contractors, sub-contractors, personnel, equipment, load tickets, timesheets, and overall profit/loss for a given job. Every disaster is considered a “job??. The attached .Zip file contains a detailed spec of the app and an Access 2003 database model. The model may be changed as necessary to suit the needs of the application and is here only to show the relevent information that needs to be entered into the system and how it is related (of course). I would like the system to continue into a full production system after the kinks are worked out in the BETA version. There are several more specifics and details to be addressed but this is the basic concept of the site. There is an existing ColdFusion (v5) & MS Access site in use, but is locally hosted on an internal PC and is not accessible in the manner required. It can be used for a re-design reference if necessary. The site will be commercially hosted when completed. This system needs to be in full BETA by December 20, 2005. I have extra components that can be used to enhance the UI and functionality of the web-site, such as ComponentOne Enterprise Suite, Infragistics .NET Advantage Suite, Crystal Reports 10 & 11, etc. These tools will be provided during the development phase to the winning bidder if the decision to use them is agreed upon. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform **_PLATFORM INFO:_** Web Server running SQL Server 2000 database and FrontPage 2000 extensions. Prefer that web site be programmed using VB, ASP.NET and XML as much as possible. Site will be accessed by systems running varied OSs and web browsers. However we should set minimum standard to IE 5.5 and Netscape 6.x browsers or higher.
