Simple web-based application to layer images and crop, then return image to calling web browser.
1) Browser sends request with following querystring values:
?left= #
&top= #
&width= #
&height= #
&layerRadar=true/false
&layerTracks=true/false
&layerMETAR=true/false
&layerPositions=true/false
Where left, top, width, and height define the dimensions of the image, and layer___ values determine which source images should be included in the final composite image
Example request:
2) After receiving the request, the web page loads requested layers into single, composite image. NOTE: Gray background in source images should be made transparent.
3) Web page crops image to requested dimensions
4) Web page returns the final image as PNG to calling browser
**Provided source images are:**
[login to view URL] -- always the top-most layer
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL] -- always the bottom-most layer
NOTE: The hard part will be filtering out the gray background so the bottom layers show through to the top. The Source Images are JPEG format, bleeds colors together. Do your best to filter out all the gray.
