This will be an ASP.NET 4.0 Application with Entity Framework, Microsoft best patterns and practices, SQL Server 2008 and C# We will also look at ready made solutions off the shelf List of functionality with brief: 1) Barcode Scanning with Numpad and Keypad input on screen 2) Create/Edit/Delete customer accounts 3) Create/Edit/Delete Staff accounts by location 4) Manage Staff Hours 5) Create/Edit/Delete and Print barcodes 6) Create/Edit/Delete items 7) Basic accounting reports 8) Inventory management by location of the goods 9) Issue purchase orders The database and application will be central. When the user logs in then that user will load all the inventory for that location and all sales will belong to that location. A starting point will be to do the UI using HTML/CSS for all the screens that will include Menus, Grids, buttons etc. Payments will be after every module
