About us We are a small team based in Germany. We are looking for an engineer to help us develop a cross-platform location based app. We come from an engineering, marketing, media and administration background. We are not bound to a specific framework or mindset. We appreciate feedback and suggestions from our engineer. Requirements * Development goal is a smartphone App. * Cross-mobile Development (Apache Cordova or React Native) for iOS, Android and Blackberry (optional). * Frontend will be Javascript, HTML5, CSS for ease of portability. * Javascript Backend with REST-API (Node.js with [login to view URL]). * NoSQL Database (MongoDB, CouchDB, Neo4J or Riak or a mix). * Database and Backend need to prioritize availability and short response time, consistency is secondary. * We expect many users to be on a bad network (slow, disconnections). * The App will be translated into multiple languages. * We get the Source Code. * We get the Github Repository with all commits (optional). * The Source Code, Comments and Commits should be in English. * We need automated Tests for every Use Case. Milestones * Get to know the engineer * Set up a work environment for the engineer and basic deployment for us to revision test builds. * Build a simple prototype with all layers (Frontend, Backend, DB) -> Vertical Slice and two Use Cases as a proof of concept * UseCase 1: Create incidents based on GPS Data: Title, GPS coordinates * UseCase 2: View incidents on a map, which are in range of the current location (GPS) with titles visible Ability to share them on Facebook Data: Title, Coordinates, Map * iOS 9 and Android 5 * Build the first version of the App with more Use Cases (to be specified by us and discussed with the engineer)

I have about 1 year experience in front end development. I'm interested in learning new things. Previously I have created cordova cross platform mobile application. which is good. But Lake of native gesture events. So, I would to recommended to develop in "React Native" which is super cool. however it's not corss platfrom. but about 80 to 85% same code in android & ios. & feel better then cordova webview.
