I have an existing indicator code which sends an alert when trend changes. I'd like to change the way 'change of trend' is identified. Indicator code is readily obtained from ForexFactory - but will also be provided here. The indicator used is the TDI, also known as TMS indicator. This indicator is essentially based on RSI with several moving averages applied. Currently 'Up' or 'Down' alerts are sent when Green Moving Average crosses the Red Moving average - I think. I would like the trend change alert only when: a) Indicate UP trend when Green moving average crosses ABOVE the Dark Orange line AND the Dark Orange MA is below the [#] level, where # is a number between 0-100; Can be preset to 50 but with the option of changing if I wish. b) Indicate a DOWN trend when the Green moving average crosses BELOW the Dark Orange line AND the Dark Orange MA is above the [#] level as above
