Figure 1 illustrates a simple vehicle. Methodology: Overview of the solution used; detailed assumptions and calculations such as; material definition, basic material characterisation and related curves used, assumptions of the overall calculations / spreadsheets used. Finally how the calculation was developed. 3. Results and Analysis: Initial Energies, Energy / Force / Velocity / Displacement study (spreadsheet calculations); Energy / Force / Velocity / Displacement path description; Final Intrusion and Injury Calculations, Compare the results with the human tolerance and survivability limits.. 4. Conclusions: Conclusions and recommendations. Which areas remained on the elastic and which reached the plastic? Cheapest Vs Lightest Vs Safest what were the tradeoffs and why?
