B2B Software Application Sellling (and Marketing) - revised

I am helping out a growing software company who want to promote and sell B2B software in the UK. (so please note, this is ffor UK based companies and sales people only). We need a sales person (and potentially lead generation / marketing person) who can sell software applications. We don't yet have leads or contacts, so marketing will be a part of this also. So if lead generation and other marketing is something you can also do, we can discuss. If not, let me know what you need from us to get started with selling. The software itself is focused on providing medium-sized to large businesses with tools to provide more efficient and paper-free common HR and business operations. They are also open to new ideas for software, and definitely have the capabiilities to produce it for any platform. My intital work assumption was this could work on a decent commission only basis, but I am happy to check any other reasonable expectations or requirements with the company. The company know success comes at a price, but also want to be confident it can lead to a decent ROI. The ideal situation would be longer term involvement, and I see a lot of potential here because I am very confident in this company (which is why I'm spending the time setting this up). Once the right person or people are found, we can discuss specifics, look at the software, it's potential and go from there.
