Connection-oriented datagram socket
using problem [login to view URL] and ConnectionRequestor.java.
Will need Screen Shots of All Outcomes from all a through d.
a) Compile and run the two files. Start the ConnectionAcceptor first, then the
ConnectionRequestor. The problem commands to do so are:
java ConnectionAcceptor 12345 Good-day!
java ConnectionRequestor localhost 12345
Describe and observe the outcome.
b) Re-run the applications but reverse the orders of the program execution
java ConnectionRequestor localhost 12345
java ConnectionAcceptor 12345 Good-day!
Describe and explain the outcome.
c) Add a time delay of 5 seconds in ConnectionAcceptor just before the message is
written to the socket. This will have the effect of keeping the ConnectionRequestor
blocked on reading for 5 extra seconds so that you can observe the blocking visually.
Describe and explain the outcome.
d) Modify the java code so that the ConnectionAcceptor uses print( ) to write one
character at a time to the socket before issuing a printlin( ) to write an end-of-line.
Recompile and run the programs.
Does the message still get received in its entirety? Explain.
