Desktop Search Java Applet

We have a Flash Application that helps users to organize their daily tasks (agenda, contacts, to do list, etc.). A new functionality that we want to add is to allow the user to select files located on their desktop and save them a link within our Flash application. Since our Flash application does not have access to the local Desktop, we will be using a **Signed Java Applet** for this tasks. The applet functionality will allow the user to: * browse its local disks * search for files on its local disks * simple desktop search (search content of files) The results will then be transmitted back to the Flash application using Javascript (JS to/from AS3 using Flash *External Interface API*). ## Deliverables Detailed requirements is attached as a PDF (and OpenOffice document).
